Air travel in the COVID-19 / Coronavirus quarantine era

Flying as Washington state and most of the country was in a shelter-at-place state was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I've never seen the transit to get to the airport, the airport, the TSA check-in lines and the plane so empty. There were more TSA agents, folks cleaning the airport, cabin crew than passengers. The upshot was that it was probably safer to pass through the airport and fly than it was to go shopping at Costco or go for a run outside in one of the popular trails. This was one for the records and a story I will live to tell the younger generations about the time I flew in March of 2020.
