EZEKIEL J. EMANUEL is the son of Benjamin M. Emanuel and Marsha Emanuel, and is brother of Chicago Mayor and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, and Hollywood talent agent Ari Emanuel. An American National Institutes of Health bioethicist, and fellow at the nonprofit bioethics research institute The Hastings Center, Emanuel recently stepped down as the Special Advisor for Health Policy to Peter Orszag, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget for the presidential administration. Originally from Chicago, IL, he lives in Washington, D.C.
