Beth Kanter at Microsoft - "Measuring the Networked Nonprofit"


Beth Kanter is a nationally known expert in the field of social media and nonprofits. Her first book, The Networked Nonprofit, discussed the culture shift necessary for nonprofits to effectively utilize social media to grow, change, and succeed. Her most recent publication, Measuring the Networked Nonprofit, tested assumptions about measurement and learning in addition to identifying a framework to help organizations move to the next level of networked practice.

Kanter is also the author of Beth’s Blog, one of the longest running and most popular blogs for nonprofits. In 2009, she was named one of Fast Company magazine’s most influential women in technology and one of Business Week’s “Voices of Innovation for Social Media.” Beth has developed curriculum and delivered hundreds of workshops to nonprofits on technology topics over the past 15 years.    @kanter
