I've always admired Colin Powell and his integrity. I was over the moon today to see him speak from up close, and get him to sign his book for me. He has a great sense of humor, is an amazing speaker and has proven himself to be a great leader. I look forward to reading his book - "It worked for Me - in Life and Leadership"!

Colin Powell was born in New York City in 1937. He is a retired four-star general in the United States Army and has earned numerous military honors. He has served four presidential administrations in a variety of roles, most recently as Secretary of State from 2001 to 2005. He lives in Virginia.
