"In the Wings" @ Daniels Recital Hall
Deborah Henson-Conant, whose PBS special "Invention & Alchemy" was nominated for a 2007 Grammy, tries out her new musical comedy on unsuspecting Seattleites who may not be used to a harp-playing comedian with multicolored hair extensions.
"In the Wings" is the tale of an After-Life Coach "so distracted by her own inner demons that she needs more coaching than her recruits do." (Sample lyrics: "Why is procrastination bad and patience good? / You're still not doing something when you wish you could.") The show comes complete with a singing-dancing chorus line of harpists.
