With his familiar style of observational humor made famous by the now cult-hit television series Seinfeld, stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld is on tour again. With two nights in Seattle, Seinfeld will charm the audiences with his quick-wit at the Paramount Theatre.

Having been born in Brooklyn and raised in Long Island, New York, Seinfeld went straight from his college graduation to an amateur night tryout at New York’s “Catch a Rising Star” in 1976. It wasn’t until his first successful television appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1981 that he got his first break. Soon after he landed appearances on Late Night with David Letterman and The Merv Griffin Show and also as the short-lived character Frankie on the television show Benson.

NBC approached Seinfeld to create a sitcom in 1989 and after teaming up with one-time stand-up colleague Larry David, of more recent Curb Your Enthusiasm fame, the monumental success of the television series Seinfeld was born. With 3 Golden Globes and 8 Emmy awards under his belt, Seinfeld the series came to an end in 1998 after 180 episodes, which are now in syndication worldwide.

Not only did Seinfeld co-create and star in Seinfeld, but he also launched what was widely considered to be the most influential and postmodern show since Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Now you can see the comedic mastermind in his most comfortable element, live stand-up comedy.

Jerry Seinfeld has become a comedian of legendary status over the years. With a sense of humor that many can relate to, don’t miss your chance to see Seinfeld in person at Seattle’s historic Paramount Theatre.
